You only need a one if you can run 12.99 and faster. LOL LOL

It's funny you mention helmets because I'm going to buy a new one today as well. The best price I've found for a Snell M2000-rated helmet is through Summit for an RCI; it's $139.95, and it's a full-face helmet. (p.n. RCI-3025W for a large) My helment is slightly out of date, as is my fire jacket, so I'm ordering both today to be 100% legal for the Thunder Shootout. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I just saw an ad at Auto Engineering (800-284-3551) in the Digger. $99 for a full Face Snell 00 Helmet (Small-XXL according to the ad. Even less for an open face unit (No prices listed).

damn i guess i got gipped for my helmet. my bell full face SA00 helmet was like 320 bucks. from what ive heard, technically bike helmets arent legal in nhra for cars. couldnt say why thats just what i heard.

I have a Simpson LX8 Open Face helmet(white) for sale.
It's a SA-95 rated helmet with the Nomex liner in it. Size 7 1/8 ~ It is legal for drag racing.

He said that there are different restrictions if you're running alcohol, so we'd be in the clear. Face you mean that hard *** head of yours ain't snell approved? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Mine just says snell approved on the outside and I haven't had any problems at MAR.
