Default Wolfe 6-point rollbar installed! (pics inside)

I hated to do it, but it was time to put the Wolfe 6-point rollbar in the car. The cage is 1 3/4" chromemoly with removeable sidebars and it came in at 63 lbs. I was very impressed with how it turned out. You really don't even notice the cage from outside the car and with the removeable doorbars, it is not problem driving in town.

Here are some pics I took tonight:

Roll cage 1
Roll cage 2
Roll cage 3
Roll cage 4
Roll cage 5

The lightweight carpet is being installed tomorrow. Then it's time for the new motor.

Looks awesome, Jason. Now just simply throw a lightweight seat in that thing and run it! In these pictures, you already have the lightest-weight carpet there is! Tipping the scales at 0 pounds, it just can't be beat!

I am going to order mine this winter (5 point weld in with removable drivers side bar.)

Looks good Jason! I agree with the RAGEman, run it like that, haha. How in te hell did you drive it home like that!?

63lbs is not so bad, I may still do it one day...

Wolfe cages are very nice. I had a 6pt chromoly custom bent recently. Hted to do it, but the tech guys at my track were really after me. The only thing that sucks is now they want me to get a 5pt harness, which will not work with our factory seats unless you cut a hole in the headrest!!! Even though I would like the weight reduction, I dont want to put race seats in my car. It is still my daily driver!

Hey, how many other places of employment close early every now and then so everyone can go to the track?? Thunder will be closing early on Friday and will be closed all day (of course) on Saturday. Anyone that needs any last minute stuff brought out to the track will have order it by noon on Friday the 1st.

LOL Justin... I had two bolt holding my driver's seat in and that was it. I took the car like that to LSU for class this morning. You should have seen the looks I got from people who drove by and saw the inside of the car.

Coach, I haven't seen the spacers yet. They should be here anyday now.

I'm picking the car up from the Upholstery shop tomorrow afternoon. I'll take some pics of the how the lightweight carpet turned out.

Jason,
They should be there today(spacers). Call me if they are not there by 5:00pm.

Are you going to bracket race with us Friday night?

PS. I have a football game tonight so it will be late when I check my messages.

Looks good Jason! That main hoop looks like a really tight fit on the sides. Will the interior plastic go back in without alot of drama? I really like how well the Wolfe bars conform to the shape of the car. I wish mine looked that good!

Coach, the spacers arrived today.

George, I'll know something tomorrow about the interior plastic. I didn't have time to pick the car up today after getting the carpet done. The interior will be back in tomorrow evening.
