Personally guys, I think this list is getting to be a joke. It reminds me of an article I saw in Car Craft years ago where they took a 1970 something (Cadilac, Buick,???) and started hacking on it until they had lowered its ET by 3 to 4 seconds. It looked like **** when it was done and it was not very comfortable on long trips, but it sure would fly. Kind of like some of the cars on this damn list.
Get real people. Any idiot can take a fricking torch to their car and make it go fast. This list can only be meaningful if you filter out anyone under what is a reasonable street weight for an F-body. I would suggest 3500 lbs. Oh crap!!! I just eliminated 90% of your stupid list. I was hoping I could eliminated the whole sad thing.

Well, then, I guess it's a good thing your opinion is not shared by the person (people) who is/are/have been keeping this list for several years. You're right, anyone CAN remove weight, but most would rather keep it in the car and use it as an excuse for why their times aren't as good. GO FASTER + SAVE THE DRIVETRAIN + FREE = NO BRAINER for me and lots of others. Sorry, pal, but we don't care whether you like it or not, we're keeping it the way it is. Have a nice day.

Vortech, AWESOME times. I'm assuming your "intake" is just like a cold-air or ram-air type deal and not a "forced" intake like your name might suggest. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: Quickest STOCK INTERNALS List - 11.992 bump!
Yes it is a ls6, it's 02 Z06. No weight reduction or anything like that( they only weigh 3100lbs, 3300 with me)just a Vortex cold air box-no Vortech huffer. My Z does have an advantage in the HP department but I think the F-bod has a suspension advantage and the abiltiy to use a 15" rim. Anyways I was just browsing and my hats off to all of u guys-those are some serious #'s. I think alot of H/C guys would be envious. Congrats!

so even when i went 12.82 with a k&n and flowmaster i would not be able to be on the list.
dont be so blue because your slow. most of the people on this list have put alot of time and money and hardwork to get their cars to run these numbers. and im one of them. so i dont take kindly to your little .02 cents worth.

Re: Quickest STOCK INTERNALS List - 11.992 bump!
Okay guys; I give in. Make the minimum weight limit 3300 lbs. If you don't set it somewhere though, all of you will be pissed off when someone shows up with a 2000 lb rail buggy with an LS1 drivetrain and Camaro VIN.
