I was on Kuhmos at San Antonio Raceway, everybody there was gettin shitty times,so i didn't feel bad. My main competitor had almost the same mods, he said he cut 12.80's when it was cool in like february,and we ran side by side this race.
WTF over?He said cause the humidity was at a million % and it was "so hot" i think it is because i am a shitty driver that didn't have drag radials and has a stock shifter, but i was still banging gears anyway

Ill boost your confidence here and post my first time slip. keep in mind I just got the car and learned how to drive stick 3 mos ago. this is with lid, hooker catback and short shifter

wouldn't sweat it for your mods and in that weather then.
the sixty foot is the problem. put a drag radial on that thing and work on your driving, car should go 12's easy in some decent air with a better sixty foot

I posted up in the wanted sec for some 17'' rims to mount my DR's on. I also have fernco smooth bellows and my lid is homemade, something i fabbed up in about three hours.costed 5 dollars for the fernco.I just got my hopes up too high thinking about 12's with my headers.My old C5 A4 went 13.1 consistently and i got walked on by a car in houston a couple times by like 5 lengths in that car. i met up with him the other day and pulled three on him with my camaro. so i know i am running faster, but i just need practice on the stick , maybe a short throw shifter too.

I knocked .3 sec off with a new clutch and a pair of BFG DR on 16". The taller sidewall I believe does more than an inch wider tire. My 60' were consistenty .2 faster than the Nittos on 17". You are running the same mph as I was running at 13.2. If you want a 12 I would get a shifter and some 16" BFG DR. If your 60' still suck get a line lock to heat em up.
