Re: what is the trick to getting.. What are your mods? Do you have Drag Radials? If not get some. I hope you are in a M6! I have Nittos, at 12 lbs, burnout, stage, and dump the clutch at 3000 rpm.
Launch as hard as you can given the traction you have, as you mod and get better traction launch higher and higher. A stock M6 you should be able to get 2.0Xs or better.
