Thunder Shootout Rocked!
Next year I will have the car ready, I mean legal for the shoot-out. No Problem Race way was the sheet. I cannot believe on how well it hooks. After seeing 1 car blow its drive shaft and the next two cars break the rear end at the launch. I started to worry if this was going to happen to my Z.
Special thanks to CoachO2M6 for helping me slow down the car. So I could at least bracket race.
Also like to thank, Badass2002Z28, Slick98ta, Nice4thgenZ, and Mongoose
PS. The drive from St. Louis, MO to Louisiana sucks, 1500 mile round trip

We left the track and went out to eat and when we returned to the hotel everyone was already asleep. What the hell was that???? It was only freakin 9pm? I WAS PISSED! Where were all the hardcore "Party Animals"? Nine Ball, PSJ, Slomaro, WTF? We wanted to drink some more and talk more sh*t!!

Mike,
I was just happy that I finally got my dinner!!! That waitress was the BEST!!! It was a classic moment when you guys wrote down on a piece of paper what the waitress had forgotten to bring you 1 hour after you had ordered it!!! PSJ got us totally lost on the way home and we drove from the restaurant in Donaldsonville down some backroads for at least 1/2 hour before we told PSJ to pull his rig over and he was totally lost. I took over the lead and we found our way back, but poor PSJ and the MFBA crew were hopelessly lost EVEN after following us!!! I thought they were goners for sure and would become alligator food. We saw them pull up about 45 mins to an hour after we arrived back at the hotel.

Tony what did Sanders C5-R car do???

Although Mike and the rest of the guys at MTI worked their asses off (thanks to them for giving it a helluva try!) the car couldn't be ready in time for the event. Hope to get some times soon.
BTW- the 18s look bitchin. And the car still looks sleepy, nothing like a 10 second bomber-perfect!
