All I have to say is Congrats Brandon Buhler ...

Everyone here can examine the final ruling as much as they want.. but Joe and Thunder Racing have both agreed that Brandon is the winner. That's it... end of story

Congrats Brandon!

Congratulations Brandon B. 118 is sick with stockheads. I did run 11.67 at 3412# with my stockhead car also. I believe that this weekend I answered more questions that were asked of me than any weekend ever. Frank95z

lol, i remember listening to a F1 race car driver talk about rules in racing.

You have to understand that the rules are made up by maybe 5-10 people

you have 4 to 5 TIMES that amount of people who will figure out a way to bend them for that extra edge to win.

Thats why rules are often changed. The racers bend them, the rule makers edit them. Racers find more ways again to bend them, the rule makers edit them again. Its a circular cycle

Face it folks, that isn't cheating...thats inginuity. Just because brandon realized what was allowed and could be bent and XX person didn't, he shouldn't be penalized for it

Stock Eliminator heads certainly aren't stock, but if the rules only said "no porting", then as stated, they are legal within the definition of the rules.

FWIW, I think Angie made the correct call, and has the right idea for next year's rules. Welcome to heads-up class racing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

i used to know a guy that was very competitive in a circle track car, dont remmember the class but it mandated a flat top piston but on inspection they would only pull the right cylinder head.so on the left bank he ran a dome piston, kind of odd huh.
