need advice on a good torq arm
BACK TO THE SUBJECT--->
I run the R/T adjustable but will need to go to a crossmember style front mount otherwise I may end up cracking off the mounting ear off the tranny at some point.
I was stating fact of MONTHS ago. Months ago I was dancin the Macerana....does it look like I'm dancin that now?? NO..just another stupid song...get off my back!!
Also, where did this BS about us refusing to run Madman's suspension come from. He was probably the first person we went to when we started tweaking the car. His knowledge and help has proven to be invaluable. I just think you should have the facts straight before running your mouth.
To answer the question on who makes the best torque arm: MADMAN.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I didn't intend for this post to become a **** fest and slam fest. I just want the best product for MY particular car. I really could care less about an 8 sec. car. A suspension setup for that car won't perform the same on an 10-11 sec car. I am looking at it this way: 1st- will the madman work on my car, 2nd- will the extra $$$ the madman costs make that big of a difference over the Spohn thats $200 less (keep in mind this is only going to be used on an at best 10sec. car.
I guess I'm not a "big dog" yet, but I'm cutting 1.4X 60' times in a 3600 lb street car with a 6-speed, on motor. Not many 6-speeds can claim that.
I guess my simple LG Motorsports torque arm is working just fine. I bent my stock one when I was running 11.0s. The LG is a stock replacement and has alot of clearance, no problems with it so far.
But, if I were a big dog, I might need one of those nice Madman setups

My car is street driven all the time and no clearance issues. Only thing I did was modify the front portion to work with my th400 transmission bracket to lift the car evenly.
So far I've had good luck with it. If things should fail in the future I'll probably go with one of those Madman deals if I can get it work with my exhaust setup.
