"Did not see Colonel...."

Oh yeah, you probably saw me. I was cruizin' round in a golf cart with a <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> in my hand and a honey on each knee. <img border="0" alt="[pimp]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_pimp.gif" /> I watched some of the races from the bar in the tower and some from the stands with the MTI folks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Some of the people I saw at the event...Coach, Kechme, PSJ, Nineball (thanks for the place to stay in Houston and for showing me a good time as usual) and his dad, Brad and Priscilla, Harlan, Joe Kizzire, Ed Wright, Madman, Greg4.8 (thanks for the ride from Houston to BR!), Kristi, GeorgeC, and the MTI crew (Mike, Josh, Pecos, and Chris.) Many of you I met for the first time and it was nice to do so. I know I left out some folks but it was good to meet all of you too. I have a terrible memory.

It was awsome, new personal bests for the MI/Stenod Racing crew(Harlan,Derty and myself). Only took like 22.5 hours to get home!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Thanx Thunder!

Got some really good video footage too!
Even though I didn't get to compete due the untimely death of my solid roller 346 I had a blast. Angie and the rest of the Thunder crew did an excellent job for their first time out running an event.

My husband and I were there. We took 3rd place (semi-final round) in the bracket race in the silver SS. I have to tell you, I have raced in many a $5000 or $10,000 to win bracket race, but I haven't been that nervous for an event in a LONG time! Before first round, I had butterflies in my stomach and every round win felt like I'd won the lottery! Especially the 9-second 1st gen Camaro and of course, Coach, bracket racer extraordinaire! I had to DRIVE every round, on both the starting line and the finish line and I wouldn't have it any other way, even though my driving skills finally ran out on me in the semi's.

We had a GREAT time, seeing all our old friends, and meeting new people. We will definitely be there for any future events! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

If I seemed quiet at some points it was because I had two hours of sleep on top of a hangover and I was continuing to drink.

I hung out with the Doubsta's Sat NITE and Sean... And MIR... Another 3am nite, I did that 3 nites in a row... So it was ruff drinking til 3am and then going to my room only to hear Paul and Mike and their snoring contest (Paul won).

I was there with the CHICAGO crew.We were glad to have a safe trip,attend a awesome well put together event and have a almost totally safe drive home.I was driving the CRAWLN BIRD and hit a bad spot of rain and hydroplaned ,car got real loose but we made it back o.k and in only 13 hrs <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

It was nice to meet some people and put names with faces.

I also drove the TEAL Z for it's first shake down runs 9.49 @ 144.It has alot more left in it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

again thanks to the TR TEAM for putting on a great event.

I seen alot of very impressive rides there and some awesome driving.

We were unable to bring the shop car due to some tuning issues.We thrashed all week but it just didn't happen.The car we hope to have at a local track this weekend.I will hopefully have some #'s to throw at everyone soon.

I was there, No car this year, just got it done, and had not cage and safety equipment yet. Plus, i did not feel like dragging my car 1300 miles to break my 3rd ten bolt. Next year i will be there for sure, what a cool event.

Funniest thing was the colonel and his ladies, and the M6 cars "double Break" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> (sorry Kevin (1BADWS6) it was funny)
