Default Went to MIR yesterday

Went to MIR to see some racing but decided to race instead of just watching and I'm very pleased with my results.
1st pass
60'= 2.000
1/8= 8.375
1/4= 12.884
MPH= 110.75
2nd pass
60'= 1.722
1/8= 7.866
1/4= 12.333
MPH= 111.33
3rd pass
60'= 1.883
1/8= 7.976
1/4= 12.456
MPH= 110.86
I'm very happy with results since this is the 1st time I have raced my car.

I have a 2000 SS with the normal boltons. I have all the boltons except a pulley and a ported throttle body. My passes were in full street trim including almost 3/4 tank of gas. I also have 3:42 gears and a SY4000. My passes were made on 17*11 ZL1 rims and 315 nittos. Thanks Jimmy

Forgot to mention its black, slp grill, tinted windows, slp ultra z hood and chrome ZL1 rims. I ran the ET class. I didnt want to run SR class because it was my first time racing and I had no idea what my car would run. Jimmy

Cool to see that you enjoyed your 1st time to drag race.

Be very careful, it is very addictive.

Nice times for your first time out. Harold and I were there, next time your there give us a shout. You did the right thing not entering the Street renegade class. I quailified and lost first round due to driver error. There were only 3 domestic cars qualified for that class. Me and 2 Mustangs. Imports were allowed 2 power adders. Quickest car was a Civic that ran 10.4x. Like we can compete with a 2100 lb car with 20+ lbs. of boost and the juice on top, on motor alone.

ahhh i remember your car now. I figured you had bolt ons.. awesome times also! Did you drop any weight out of the car? The best I have been at MIR with all bolt on/stock internals was 11.98@112.6 on a 1.62 on 16inch nittos. But i had skinnies and the seats out. Weight makes a big difference! My car weighs 3540 now argh.. damn pig!!

how do you like that converter?? I love my vig3600

im trying to figure out who the pewter Z28 LS1 was I saw being trailored there and back?? I think it was pewter

I love my converter . I will love it even more when I learn how to pull better 60' with it. I just joined EFBA yesterday so I will be talking to you guys there also. Are you going to Cecil County this weekend? I hope I can make it. I will have my Welds on the car, less gas and hope to pull better 60' to get me into the 11's. I had so much fun at the track I can't wait to go back .
