Racing Seats

The Kirkey seat is tons nicer, though. Either one is a pain to install, as there is a good bit of fabrication work needed. The Kirkey seems a little more difficult because of its overall larger size.
I may be finished tomorrow and might post a pic of two...
I am going with the pro streets soon.
Pics of the install would be great!
My stock 98 TA seats weigh 89lbs as a pair.
George, what kirkey seat are you using? Pro Street or economy?

The brackets are bolt on brackets made by IO Port Racing and are adjustable (incline and forward/backward), but you have to actually unbolt the seat from the floor to move it forward or back.
I wouldn't go as far as calling the install simple, as you either have to weld mounting studs to the floor for the brackets, or drill holes to use bolts (careful of those fuel lines ). I drilled holes, and made my own studs, so I can just take the nuts off and lift the seat right out. My old plastic seats were bolted in with 5/16" bolts/nuts, and were a PITA to remove.
