Drag Racing in COLD weather.
<strong>I know that cooler air is good. But for some reason i remember or think i remember reading somewhere that if its too cold out you can start breaking parts on the car. Is that true or was it just my imagination? TIA</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Most of us drive to the track... this heats the drivetrain up pretty well.
If you plan to go to track (Cecil) on a very cold day, it's best to make sure you ethier hotlap the car.. or if you let it sit long enough for the rear to cool... do a coupe laps around the pits before heading to the staging lanes.
BTW: I raced at Cecil on days that they couldn't keep the water box from freezing over <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
