you use a stock LCA and the pete z bar attaches/bolts to it
then the other part welds to the rear end....creating a short type ladder bar system
make more sense?

The Doub's website he has pics...
You can use any LCA that has those two holes in them in the body, so stock or the Hotchkiss ones work for example.
I'd buy them from Madman he knows how to set them up, I talked to Pete once but he's not into talking on the phone... and he has no direct track time like Brian does.

For a drag application (low 10 second NA car) would I be better off with your torque arm, or these lift bars? I like the idea of removing the torque arm and saving it weight.

I think if you weld these you can do away with any t/a, I'm pretty sure, I've seen some stock eliminator cars and talked to them. They have to bolt the bars on because in stock you can not have a welded on traction device ,it has to be a bolt on. So on the cars I've seen they still use the stock t/a for stock class because they aren't as strong if you don't weld them ,thats just what I've gathered from talking to them.

Madman says on the first page that you must keep the t/a and let it float in case you break off one of the pete z bars the rear end would come out of the car....that wouldn't be good

I want to ditch the torque arm all together. With a Moser 9" that would save ~25#! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
