Please dont guess. Only answer if you know for sure.

According to the 2003 NHRA Rulebook;

13.99 or quicker must use a helmet meeting Snell 90, 95, K98, 2000, SFI 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, or 41.2A. Hope this helps....

Just what I needed. Thanks.

Oh and just wanted to tell you I think Thunder racing is great. Every time I order something it shows up right away. Sometimes even the very next day. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

All they ever ask is the snell rating and I tell them 2000. If anything, I'd expect a motorcycle helmet to offer more protection then a regular auto one.

I've got an M2000 too. It's an open face helmet that I bought at a motorcycle shop for $90. No one has ever asked me the rating, or bothered to even ask if I had or knew I needed a helmet. Unfortunately, they wait til you've made a pass before they yell at you. For those that don't know any better, it has to suck for that to happen....
