"Project Wife's Car"...Finally 11s!!!!!
11.96 @ 111.89 w/ 1.61 60' ~ 3600 race weight
Well Jessica has been chasing that 11 second time slip for about 2 years now. We went up to Hattiesburg Sunday for some cool weather drag racing which turned out not to be so cool, so I was suprised by the times. She chased it all day and it came on the last run of the day. Here is a list of the days runs, man is her car consistant; 12.21, 12.10, 12.43(spun), 12.07, 12.08, 12.04, 12.06, 12.02, 12.00, 12.00(spun) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> , and the 11.96.
Here is the days race trim; skinnys, 15" BFG Drag Radials, removed passanger seat, no filter, no bottle, and ~3600 race weight.
Now maybe it's time for a cam. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Congrats on the elusive 11's! I know you two have been trying for a LONG time. A 1.61 out of a Vig 3200 in a full-weight bolt-on car is impressive! I agree that your wife now needs a cam. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: "Project Wife's Car"...Finally 11s!!!!!
I'm glad you guys got what yall were hoping for!!!
I ALMOST got what I was looking for. The last pass I made I spun pretty bad but it didnt hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift but it broke loose pretty bad. She went a 13.40 @ like 105.3 on a 2.23 60'. The pass before that was a 13.30 on a 2.00.
It was great to meet you guys!!!!!

Congrats Paul (especially Jessica). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I hope to mirror those results here in Ca <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> , we just don't have as good of tracks as you guys do over there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Thankfully I see it's possible. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Major thumbs up! Running 11s in a full weight F-Body with just bolt ons is not easy. Congrats to you and Jessica.

Nice job Jessica! I know how long you have been trying for 11s. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
It's time for a cam and it is sitting with your name on it by Paul's desk. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

CONGRATS JESSICA (and Paul)!!!!!
Those numbers look almost identical to what I ran the day I finally got to the 11s. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Definitely a great feeling to chase down those numbers. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Paul,
Now that there is/are:
1. A sleeper cam with Jessica's name on it...
2. A couple of guys who have volunteered free labor for the install...
3. Some "holiday" shop time available...
You have no excuses.
Bring "Wife's Car" in. Jason and I will have it fixed up in no time... <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
