New best with a slipping tranny!
I went out last friday night to see how the car would run with a tune up and some cooler air. I had problems getting the car to shift (snap!)into 3rd gear most of the night because i did not give it plenty of cool down time due to being so close to what i would settle for. Next time i will let the car cool for a longer period. My 60fts. stayed in the 1.61-1.59 range all night on 26x10.5x15 ET Street. Here is my best run and last run of the night i might say.
Race weight was 3,360lbs
R/T .566
60ft. 1.61
1/8th 7.38@93.32
1/4 11.59@116.39
Who knows what i left with the shift dragging a bit but i was happy anyway. I look to change converters out to a TP4400 in a few months and add a new set of Hoosier Drags. I'm also going to drop another 70lbs off the car and see if that helps out. Now all i need is to add a ASP pulley and LS6 intake after that and try to chase down some heads and cam times <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
