Default Paging all the Orlando guys...

Since the weather has gotten a bit cooler since yesterday, I may make the trek down there tomorrow to see if I can find a 9 second ET laying around somewhere...

Anybody planning on going? Is it probably going to be jam packed with ricers like it was last time? I hate being in line all night. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> I need to park somewhere different this time, too! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> It sucks being blocked in because of the staging lanes being soooo full.

A few of us are heading down to Bradenton (DeSoto) Saturday morning... High is not supposed to be above 70...

Hmmm, Bradenton would be an option too... I'd rather run at night, though, since the barometer is usually higher and the temperature lower.

I still have some bad memories of that place, too. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I was thinking of going to Tampa Saturday night for a $5000 (if I remember correctly) bracket race that night, though.

I'll have to see what develops.

George,

Come on down the weather is fine. 50 degrees outside and barometer is at 30.26. I imagine the weather tomorrow night will be comparable. There's more time for you to get into the 9's. The last TNT night at OSW is on the 20th of december for this year.

Will, you must be the only Orlando local left around here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I'm leaving the house right now, and should be there ~5:30 or so.

Hopefully they have a 9.99 timeslip with my name on it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

What a waste! I guess they don't prep the track on Friday nights. I was slipping and sliding all over the place in all three gears. Not fun. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Oh well... It was nice seeing everyone, and I did enjoy two delicious corndogs from the concession stand! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I don't really like to talk about dyno numbers, since I've only had the car on an eddy-current dyno some time ago. Power was around 470-480rwhp.

Dyno numbers don't win races. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

cool I understand, power/weight, suspension, traction blablabla, all factor into 1/4 mile times.
