NEW BEST....Stock Internal
1.617 - 60'
7.559 - 1/8 mile (11.9xx pass if ran out)
90.73 - mph
12.095 - 1/4 mile
94.10 - mph
So I let the car cool down,a little disappointed that there was no improvement at all over last time.
So this time I decided to run the whole pass out. Clint(husband) says "tell me if they say anything to you, if they dont I want to run it" So I get up there, do my burnout, stage, stall it up to about 1500 and just put the pedal to the floor. Pass felt good but didn't think it would be any different than the first one. I pull up to get my time slip and the guy looks at the slip, looks in my car, looks back at the slip, radios some guy to come over there, tells me to pull off to the side, the saftey guy comes up telling me I lack some of the proper saftey equipment, then says he sending me to tech so they can tell me what I need. Finally he hands me the slip...and trying to drive and look at the same time. All the sudden my face went from to
1.591 - 60'
7.469 - 1/8
91.22 - mph
11.775 - 1/4
114.43 - mph
I was feeling good now. But they wouldnt let me run the car any more, so changed the tires and spectated the rest of the night. All the while I was wondering how much better those #'s would have been if I would have been able to make more passes. Guess I'll just have to wonder. All in all I am happy.

Congrats Lynda and Clint, good seeing you two out racing, as usual.

No cage for a while. Going to be setting the car up for the 12 second index for the Spring Shootout here in the next few months. Sometime after that who knows
ezss: raceweight was 3250, its a another stripper Z, with some weight reduction here and there.
Next time out we'll be making some 1/8 mile passes so Clint has a chance to run too

Congrats Lynda, those are awesome numbers! Now I just gotta figure out a way to lose over 200 lbs to get down to your raceweight and catch ya. I knew I should have worked out this morning!

You'll get it girl, once you get out there with that higher stall Yank you got now.
Yeah weight does make a difference, but that Tuning you have should help you out quite a bit too. Get some good air and take a little weight off the car and there aint no telling what it will do. Are you going to run in the Spring Shootout in March? If so what class(es) do you plan to run in?
Take Care...and get back out there soon girl.
Lynda
