What is the importance of Back Spacing?
What is the importance of Back Spacing? I am looking at Centerline wheels Telstar Terminator 15x8 with a 5" back space. Everyone says to run 5.5" BS with a 8" rim. The convo pros are also only 5" BS.
What are the drawbacks with only 5" BS? Are there any safty issues? Clearance issues?
BTW, I plan on running a 10.5" tire.

Moose had the wrong backspacing on his original XP drag lights and they stuck out quite a bit I would make sure and go with the 5.5 backspacing, but its your call.

Re: What is the importance of Back Spacing? If you have too much backspacing, they will sit too far inside and rub the wheelwell. If you don't have enough, they will stick out some.
