okay I'm late with my post (at racetrack til midnight, up til 2 cleaning up car, then up at 7 am to drive to a car show held at my employers-NPD)

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Camaro]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" />
Congrats G-man! I knew you'd get it eventually, like my run last night, just keep trying stuff and chipping away. Plus it didn't hurt that we had MINESHAFT air last night. Did you figure the corrected DA yet?

Oh by the way, I'm not too far behind your barrier breaker, only a few seconds <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

George, that's just a flyin'. It's awesome to see those N/A motors run so fast.

Derek: I posted the DA in the original post... -1070 at time of run... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

PSJ: Nicorette patches would weigh too much and slow me down. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Sean: I always drive naked! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

cenman: The motor is all ARE. The GTP heads were traded in on the ARE setup. Compression is around 13:1.

Kickass George!!! Glad you were able to put that 9 second time together. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> Have you decided if you are gonna do that cam switch we talked about briefly when you freshen up the motor?? What about the stepped headers and collector muffler??
Again, congrats man and look forward to more reports of succcess.
Someone get in touch with GM High Tech Performance or some other mag; 382 inch N/A motor running 9.996 seconds is just sick!!

Way to go George! I knew you'd hit 9's sooner or later. It's incredibly awesome to do it with a 382-cid engine, too! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> I agree with Tony; where will we be a year from now?!

Congrats on breaking through a huge barrier. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Trevor

It'll be addictive...now that you've bulbed a 9x, how long til you want a "low" 9x or even an 8x? Great runs...wish we did not have lots of snow and subfreezing weather up here now.
