Default NEED HELP: HEADER SIZE

need some help, having a custom set of headers made for my 93 Z28....i currently have the hooker LT's 1 3/4, Talking to the header guy and he want to do a set of 2" primarys with a 4" collector, I was thinking mabe a set of 1 7/8 -2" step with 4" collectors...just dont want to get TOO BIG of a header made, some of you know my car supercharged 18pnds boost soon to be 20+, any help would be great, I know Brian(MADMAN)and a few other have had LOTS of expereince with Blown LT1/LT4 blown applications

I think the hassle involved with a 2" header on a standard exhaust port layout, makes it a bigger PITA then its worth in the power dept.

I like *your* plan better.

I agree with KT.

Even a 1 3/4" tube is tough engouh to work around and get into a port and fit bolt holes.

I know because I built my headers.

1 7/8" would suck even yet. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Im not fluent in blowereze but... On madmans site he states that the headers on the bird are 3 step i believed they were 1 7/8, 2, 2 1/8
