I went out to the track for the first time to see what it could do (well really to see what I could do). Well as I went to do the burnout I realized I didnt know how to do it with my standard and to make it worse my 60ft was crappy(launced at 2k). So what I was wondering if anyone could help me.

First off, what tires and gear are you running? Any suspension mods? In fact, what are all of your mods?

Process for burnout with an M6...

Back into the water and pull out to the damp part just in front of the box. Rev it up to about 4 or 5 thousand, drop the clutch and then immediately get on the brake just enough to keep the car in one spot while at the same time increasing the throttle to maintain about 5500 RPM or so. When they are smokin' pretty good let off the brake and try to continue the burn on up towards the line. This'll keep 'em clean if done correctly. (Can't always be done due to having more traction than you do power so don't worry about it if it grabs.)
