Results from new headers.....

Re: Results from new headers.....
Maybe I'm wrong on this one, but isn't 94mph in the 1/8 mile with a 422 engine kind of weak, even with FLP's?
I run that in my 346 and trap around 117mph.

Re: Results from new headers.....
yes it is weak. But tell me what size tire you're running, and what size stall, and what gears, etc. With a 28" tire, 3300 stall, and 4.10 gears, I'm not gonna be trapping 100mph.
A 35lb driveshaft, and a full weight (other than passenger seat) car
There's a lot more factors than how many cu inches you read on a post.

I'm running a 26" tire, a crappy aluminum flywheel, no stall, 3.73 gears, in a car that now weighs about 3700lbs with me in it at 1500ft elevation.
Gearing shouldn't negatively affect your traps if you are geared properly.
If I stepped up to 4.30 gears in my car I'd pick up .2/2mph since I'm way out of the powerband when crossing the traps with 3.73's.
I just found it odd, that even with all those variables, you'd only trap 94mph, thats all. You didn't post all your mods, so thats why I was guessing. Where in texas are you? Elevation?

I changed the edit feature back to showing when someone has edited their post. It defaulted to a different setting when we updated to UBB 6.5 I mean 6.4....
