Re: had fun at the Vette, Viper,F-Body shootout
Hey guys, newbie here, LOL. Just for the record my best and last run of the day looked like this:
R/T .574
60' 1.52
330 4.599
1/8 7.102
mph 100.05
1000 9.274
1/4 11.069
mph 126.58
Not bad in my book for running in FL air and not NJ air, funny how my best was looked like this in 40 degree temps
R/T .574
60' 1.478
330 4.455
1/8 6.910
mph 99.47
990 8.971
1/4 10.806
mph 127.44
Seems with the MPH I had in Fl should have been good for a 10 second run, oh well. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I don't see all the fuss, my MPH was the same in FL as in NJ. My mph ranged from 124 on one run, 125.00, 125.12 and 125.97 on three runs and 126.58 on final run, oh and I ran 122 and a 123 on missed gears. I also tied my best 1/8 mph of 100.

Hey Brent and Mark, nice to see you guys put that mph situation to rest. Unfortunately there will probably still be people who refuse to give credit where it's due <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Nice showing Cartek guys!!!
Looks like C5_Pig could run even better but on that one pass he either got knock or had to recover from bogging to slow down to a 7.1 and still hit that 1/8th mph.
I see nothing to prove here.
Props to you guys for going down there and racing.
Folks can talk talk talk but at the end of the day we all see who hits the track.
Hope to see a lot of your C5's in BG on May 31st.

Dave,
I was glad to hear that the converter that you received from Transmission Converter Systems (TCS) gave you 147 mph over your Vigilante(s)142 mph. On your 2nd run how did you like that launch!!!!!!

Mechman, I believe you raced Billy, the one with the black CCW's.

Here is the video of Dave's second run on Saturday at Bradenton, huge wheel stand.
Wheel stand video click on this
So far the converter seems to be working great, 147 mph on the previous run was on and off the throttle twice. We don't know if it was damaged when the car slammed the ground after the wheel stand.
