Got a new best ET!
Having a motor capable of reving to 7500 repeatedly give u the ability to make more hp.This is a PROVEN FACT.
Then u throw the bigger cam into the mix and u get even more hp out of the setup.U cant compare a stock shortblocked H/C setup to a BUILT shortblock with a solid roller.

That still doesn't convince me that the bottom end itself directly yields any more power. Indirectly, yes, through the fact that the strength of the parts allows more RPM and power to be turned and used reliably.
I am not gunna call the guy a lier. Even though the times sound a little off specially being in TEXAS!!!!!!(from my experience at SLP CAD the TEXAS WEATHER SUCKS!!!!!!!)<-- for example a freind of mine has a RELITIVELY STOCK 2002 SS with only the cats gutted and all free mods that ran a 12.7 @ 109 and then a couple 12.90's @ 110 the SAME DAY which this was in GREAT weather, and he raced at the SLP CAD and the car went a best of a 13.6 @ 108! I say thumbs ALL the way down to the TEXAS WEATHER!

I was .3 off my best @SLP CAD. And my best was ran at Hallsville wich is normally .1 to .2 faster than Ennis. I was also about 40lbs heavier and didnt run the short belt. Nothing wrong with Texas weather
From what I heard (couldn't make it personally, I'm to poor to go to even a free race ), it was REALLY humid out there @ SLP's CAD.

I had to work that morning. I got there about 2:30pm, just in time to change tires and make round 1. It was cool and windy as hell. It was humid that morning till the front blew in.

poop... LOL!
I won't bother calling but... I know my car ran 126.26mph on an 11.25 pass. My short time was only 1.834 though, not nearly 3 tenths quicker to reach the same ET anit's far from a stock engine, that made over 500rwhp N/A.d mph. about 3000 lb race weight at the time. And Internally stock LS1? I just can't see it in this case. As they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Just read through this stuff. To run 126+ stock, you'd better be VERY light. I ran 120 in super air in an A4 stripped out to around 3140 raceweight with a mid-1.4x 60' at 11.26 (if memory serves correct). RAGEMAN ran in similar conditions with similar raceweight in a M6 and ran around 121 or so.
I'm not one to throw stones as we all are just internet-racing, including myself, until we do it on the same track and would go through a teardown. Having been born in raised in Dallas, I am well aware of the tracks, air conditions, etc.
Now is a great time of year to be racing down that way, but I can't easily buy into the times, especially the trap speed. Speed is the indicator of horsepower-to-weight with frontal area and frictional losses as well.
That's in the 526 horsepower range at the flywheel. Al Corda in his "stocker" is around that and we all know that his 9.97 at 132 ain't a "bolt-on" car. Corda was 2950# raceweight at Pomona.
A 100% full-tilt racer but with a "bolt-on" LS1 would probably have a raceweight around 2800#'s, and would probably, IMO, run around 10.80 at 124-125 in perfect conditions. That's a full race suspension, trans (auto or manual), lots of gearing and tire, and so on.
Summary: no way regardless of what the timeslip says.
BTW, I have always been extremely open about my combo as a "bolt-on" and now heads and cam. A number of folks have seen the car up close and personal. I'm not one to "hide" my secret combo nor am I one to always throw gas on a fire.

The car ran its best being shifted UNDER 7k rpms. My shiftlight is set a 6600rpms, so I figure I'm shifting right at 6800, just as I was w/ stock heads and a TR230 cam.
The only time this motor has seen 7500 is on the dyno and when I do happen to miss a shift.
