Re: Fastest (almost) stock A4? he's too busy skiing. He had the mufflex 4" catback, maft, and lid. I was there. My old 99 6m with hc,4.11,borla,lid,superchips- could only muster a 12.62 @ 113.7. His hurt my feelings but I know it's 30 hp up on a 99.

Re: Fastest (almost) stock A4? So why would I buy a z06 intake, get rid of egr system? I thought everyone on these boards said 01-02s dyno'd up to 30 hp more than a 99!! His 01 is a formula hardtop, auto, cloth, pw,pl. May have taken the jack and spare out. Maf,lid, and 4" mufflex at that time. Now he runs 11.30's-11.40's @ 119 on a stock motor. You guys correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Fastest (almost) stock A4? The LS6 intake will gain a few ponies on a stock 346ci LS1. It'll make a big difference on a large cube or a H/C LS1. The 01-02's are definitely running much stronger than the 98-99's. They are not dyno'ing 30hp higher though. There are always the "factory freaks" that we all <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> though.
Dyno numbers are great for the Supra guys. I like track numbers. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: Fastest (almost) stock A4? Cool. I feel better. Agreed, dyno numbers aren't very good indicators of et. There are way too many other factors that are as important to good ets. I love my 99 and I don't care what it dynos, if I ever go to a dyno. I'd much rather spend 15 bucks at the track than 65 on 30 minutes of dyno time.
