Default Libertys 5 speed installed

The engine and trans are finally in, I have a few pics with more to come. There were many obstacles on the way the biggest being the 3 ft long hole in the floor of the car. The crosshaft style Lakewood specialties bellhousing was interesting. A few modifications were needed along the way. All I can say at this point is that it's in. Shouldn't be long now and I'll be at the track.

Yeh yeh I know the pics are small but they were taken with a cell phone and thats the best I could do at the time. I promise bigger pics soon. The motor in the car has a stock crank, big bore with 15 to 1 compression and C5R (385 cfm) heads. Modern Cylinder Head in Clinton Township MI built me a custom sheet metal intake. I am using Kooks custom headers and all BMR suspension. As far as times go we will see, I am hoping to change some sigs on the board thats for sure. Only time will tell....

Matt,

Looks good. Do you have a part number for the lakewood bell? I'm putting a TKO600 behind a LS1, would your bellhousing be the right one? Post up when you're heading to the track, I'd like to see your car run.

cool, i want one! how do you downshift when you are comming up to a mustang or taking an exit?

Unfortunatly there is no downshifting with this trans. Although the benefits outway that.
