Re: How low to run et streets?
i just did a search because i trying to find the best PSI for street driving.. someone told me they run 27-30 for long trips?
but for lowest from what I just saw anything below 15psi is very unstable up top end. Some guys are running 18-25psi in them on the tracks and hooking fine. Im just gonna start at 19-20 and go from there with mine. Im definitly not going below 16 or 17 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: How low to run et streets?
back when i ran 26x11.5 ET streets on stock 16" wheels i had my best luck at 12psi warm (no tubes). hooked the best down there, and below that things started to get a little suirrley up high. this was on a stick car FWIW, i dont think you will need to go that low on a non t-brake auto to get it to hook up

On a good hookin track mine ran best at 20-22lbs. Run as much as you can and still hook. You will need to get em hot. Best on ET Streets was 11.30 with a 1.51 at 119. 3450lbs Race weight.

Re: How low to run et streets?
In my experience, the tires have grown 2psi after I have finished a run.
12-14psi cold really felt crappy for the last 1/8th of the track.
I like 15-17psi cold. I wonder how much the tires grow from the burnout, that's probably where most of the growth is from?
If you can run them 20psi cold the car will track like a Cadillac.
