Default Would the Wolfe anti-roll bar be overkill for a low 11/high 10 sec. car?

Seems from what most say, the Wolfe is the best drag bar. Would this bar be ok for driving on the street every once in a while? How much improvement do you think I could see swapping from a 25mm (1") sway bar with poly bushings to the Wolfe? The only thing that I personally dont like about the Wolfe is that hit has to be welded. Regardless, either drag bar that I choose, Im looking at $400. (Spohn, BMR, Wolfe) So should I stick with what I have or step it up? Thanks.

By the way, the Spohn is the lightest between the 3 (a little over half the weight), with the BMR and Spohn being about the same.

I have an Airlift airbag in the right rear spring to help with squatting. I also have Hals, do you want the settings to be equal on the rears or could I stiffen up the passenger side to help as well? Just wondering if it was ok to put some of the load on the shocks. Lastly, according to the instructions on the airbag, it says for automatic equipped cars can easily be set with correct pressure by simply footbraking the car and adding air until the car is level. Does this apply to newer Camaros/F-bodies?

I like the wolfe bar, but it is not for the faint of heart. It is very SOLID, it makes the car bounce around alot on the street. You also have to be careful in corners because the wolfe bar does so well your car has no body roll, so in a corner it feels like the car is cornering perfect then whoops you do a 360. you can always unhook the links so it would be like you didnt have a rear swaybar

It's time to get a better rear bar when the car comes out twisted. Twisted means you might unload the suspension when launching and the car can spin or move around and you can't really react fast enough to make corrections.

I just got a Spohn, it's nice.

My car doesnt come out of the hole twisted, but it squats in the passenger rear. I havent had it to the track lately with the airbag, how much will that help out?

Spohn 25mm got rid of all my car's twist. Highly recommend it for a serious street car.
It bolts in the stock location, uses poly mounts, which makes it MUCH more liveable on the street.

Well I dont have a problem coming out of the hole twised, just squats a little, so I think Ill keep my 25mm for now, but Im going to have to get different u-bolts and brackets because its not going to fit on my 12 bolt. I just cant see $75 for the kit from Spohn. Does any one else a similar kit?

Moser 12 bolt?

If it's a Strange, you will only need a couple spacer plates.

According to the link below, it says if I have any aftermarket rear that I will need this kit:

http://www.spohn.net/product.cfm?productid=1310

Thats a lot of money for being able to reuse my swaybar. Is there anyone else that offers this for less money? Do I really need everything in the kit?

My Spohn bar came with bushings, caps, and end links.
http://www.spohn.net/productimages/923_REAR_bigx.JPG
Only thing I got not in the picture is the bushing caps.

With my Strange 12 bolt I used the stock u-bolts and seats.

I do run a spacer, but I have use that even with the stock bar. To keep it from hitting the pumpkin.

Ive got the Spohn rear sway bar as well and it came with everything you listed. However, in the description of the kit, it says that I will need the longer endlinks, endlink bolts, and spacers to keep the proper geometry of the sway bar. How were you able to reuse the u-bolts if they were made for the smaller ID housing? (10 bolt) Where did you get the spacer? Lastly, what are bushing caps?

Strange axle tubes are the same size as the 10 bolt.

Bushing caps are the c cups that hold the bushing/swaybar to the rear end. Not sure that's the technical name is

I have the spohn 25mm. I paid the $75 for the install kit but i have a 9". I thought the kit was for people with the 9". I was sceptical about it but in the end im glad i splurged. It wasnt worth 75$ but it is very nicely made and it is needed with the 9"
WHATARUSH I had a squatting problem to the point where the top bolt in the torque arm was hitting the top of the tunnel. I went with the lower control arm relocation brackets and it solved that problem. If you dont have them i highly suggest them

I dont think Ive had the problem with the bolt from the torque arm hitting the tunnel, but then again, I have the BMR bolt-in relocation brackets. The kit doesnt seem like its worth $75, but what can you do? (besides fab something up yourself)

I thought the Strange axles tubes were bigger than the 10 bolt?

The Spohn 25mm sway bar is $142 I believe and the kit for aftermarket rear ends is $75. It comes with the spacers, end link sleeves, end link bolts, and u-bolts.
