My bars are a little high compared to some of the other bars you buy in a kit. The cage was custom made and the builder asked me if I wanted it "legal" or lowered a little to make it easier to get in the car. I told him legal so the bars are exactly in the NHRA and IHRA approved places.
Getting in is a little tougher than a normal cage but I would rather put up with that than receiving **** in a tech line about the side bars <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'll post pics hopefully by the end of the weekend with the padding in, race seat mounted and the Speed Inc carpet in the car. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Chris - that looks excellent... those welds are outstanding on the bars and the beds in the back bars look great!!! Very professional 6-point install... excellent!!! Gray padding would look good.
