Default times at our new(old) track.

Ran my 00 m6 camaro today.

Our track was closed 4 yrs ago due to politics. Track was reopened yesterday thanks to the new politicians in office.

Track is not hooking for anybody.
Even the tubbed big block blown cars are spinning down the track.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks the track will start sticking again.

for all the honda haters, our 96 turbo HONDA prelude ran a best of 13.8 @ 111, and the 97 turbo HONDA civic ran a best of 14.7 @ 105

Altitude+slippery new launch pad=sucks-lol

Cool to see another race track running again. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

In a few week when more rubber is on the track it should start hooking better. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Good luck. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

I am suer it will hook again. The track hooked just fine before they closed it. Most people agree (as do I) trap speeds were off by 5-6 mph for 110 trap cars. Seems right to me. A cam only car with tires shouldnt trap 109 up here (6000ft.) Hell my friends 02 a4 z28 traps 103 with a converter and slicks at the roswell track (3600 ft). They only had 1 week to get the track back to running shape after being closed for 3-4 yrs.

I am happy we don't have to drive 3 hrs to go race. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Do you know what the density altitude figured out to be? Your time is about what stock-mild LS1's have run here in Lubbock, we have bad air, one very bad track and one decent track that is fairly new. Lubbocks elevation is something like 3200ft, usual density altitude is around 5000+ft.

I'm glad your track reopened. We may have to take a little drive up there someday. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I do not know the density altitude figure to be. I will find out though. We are at 6k ft physically. Care are pretty slow on the whole up here. Boosted cars dont get hit as hard up here for the alt gain. Would be great to meet you guys. Just starting to draw a little ls1 notice up here. Need to get the parts I have been waiting on to get a decent ET out of the car. That should help get business going on the ls1 side of things. Hope to be ordering more parts from you guys.
