Default Help with battery kill switch

Here's the situation. I moved my battery to the trunk using a moroso box, and flaming river's big switch. I got everything hooked up and working but i hit the switch and the car dosen't die. I hooked up the positive cable to it.

What else could i hook up to make it work? altenator, fuel pump, igntion?

TIA
Jim

Your car is running off the alt. You need to run a wire from the switch and splice into the Bat off the alt. to kill it.

I know it running off the alt. but it would OK to run the wire all the way back there and back up front. I wouldn't have any charging problems would I?

So you are supposed to run the + to the alternator, and then back to the switch, and then forward to the fuse box?

I have never "tested" mine, but would assume I have the same issue

It looks like the painless shutdown relay will work, but they want 70 bucks for it. I would really like to find a cheaper way. I'm way over budget on this little project as it is. I think i'll just try wiring the alt into the switch. I'll problably end up frying the alt or something else and end up costing me more money anyway.

BTW on my racetronix fuel pump there is a seperate wire for power on the harness tried wiring that into the switch. No dice stayed running.
