Fast MPH on VW tires?
Fast MPH on VW tires? Well i know there is alot of people put there running them at the track. I have been running them for the past 2 years. I just dont feel to comfortable running them past 120 MPH. I have a set of 15x3.5 almuastars what should i put on the front of these. I drive the car about 50 miles a week. How do sportman pro look seening they are 7.5in wide?

I wouldn't go 7.5" sportman on a 3.5 rim. A 15 x 4 or 15 x 5 would be a much better rim to use with these. A buddy of mine runs 124-127 mph on his 3.5 rim with the small VW tires and also see about 7,000 street miles a year so I wouldn't worry.

I did 165 mph on mine on the highway.
I did actually blow one of mine on the way to the track like 2 yrs ago. I forgot to save the tire, I was not sure why it blew.
I think the Sportsmans will fit on a 15x3.5. They reccomend the 8 ply for heavier cars like ours.

I drove on mine everyday, even in the snow(damn they are great in the snow) all last year. I drive 80 miles/day also, and have hit 130mph on them on the highway, and 115+mph at the track all the time.

I am running the 8 ply sportsmans up front. These things are awesome on the street. In this pic there is 30psi in the fronts. They are very stiff. It is hard to tell I am running skinnies up front sometimes.
Dont let the size fool you they are made for the 3.5 to 4" wheel. They will work on a 5" but they look great on the 3.5 or 4".
BTW I have been 125MPH on these.
