Re: Gathering interest on bolt-on CF WS6 hood...
I'd like very much to be in, but with my involvement in ORR I need some kind of strength garuantee (sp?) that it'd be good for 190+ mph before blowing apart. The stock hood even blows apart at this speed.Do they understand that these aren't 140 mph max ricers, but rather 160-190 mph monsters and would require a stronger hood than what the typical ricer car would ? Also if they're going to mold in a BG RA setup that'd be great. If not I'd want the original BG mod to fit.
If these concerns of mine can be addressed, I'm in
Thanks
Bill

Is this still happening?
Which version of the hood is being copied?
Please email aaronmurray@msn.com if this is a go.

This project is put on hold since my WS6 is my daily driver once again and I can't send the hood overseas for the mold. If anyone wants to volunteer to ship theirs to Vis I can offer a great discount on their hood.

The hood would be gone around 3-4 weeks and would not get damaged in the molding process.

Re: Gathering interest on bolt-on CF WS6 hood...
would i have to have the bg mod done already or would they do it and send it back?
The BG turbulence elimination funnels would be molded into the hood.

It would be easier if you already had the turbulence elemination funnels that come with the BG kit. Let me know if you are up for this and I will call them tomorrow to set it up.

Wow, if this hood already had the BG Ram Air kit moulded into the hood it's an even better value.... Hmmm...... I might have to buy one then if this was the case......
