thats why i left my bumper supports, sway bar and all the safety stuff in. The best things you can do are of coarse the spare/jack, rear seats(i dont like people riding with me in the rear anyway), rear seat belts, and passanger seat if no one rides with you anywhere. But those only take me about 10mins to drop out of my car. Only 5 if i dont have the rear seat belts in

for the track you can drop out those rear speaker panels(6-9pound maybe)

all the small stuff adds up man The good thing it, you can put it all back in very quickly

I took off my sway bar, A/C, back seats w/seat belts, spare/jack...

Thats about it....

Only other thing I will do eventually is light weight K-member, A-arms, and a cage which will cancel all of that out, and the speed inc. light weight carpet...

Id take the front bumper supports off. Theyre not gonna do much in a high speed crash. Id keep the rear supports since they might protect the gas tank. The egr and air system is about 9 pounds. The Hal shocks save about 7 pounds. The windshield wiper resovoir is about 5 pounds.

Sun Visors
Owners Manual
Floor Mats
T-top Holders
Hatch Covers

Those are pretty simple to do and things you can live without. Don't forget Misc junk and Chromeloy LCA's.

My real question is I plan on taking out 300LBS this year including my Weld Draglites (Centripical Weight) How much should that improve my ET? I've heard 100lbs is roughly .1 is that right?

Default Weight reduction for daily driver...

Don't wanna sacrafice a few things...

Safety ie bumper supports, airbags
radio/regular speakers
don't want a ton of highway road noise
need A/C

What kind of free mods can one suggest for the daily driver. I wanna lighten it up, but needs to be comfortable for daily commutes.

Yea, I also forgot I have no AIR and EGR, took those out as well, I'm also always riding around on slicks/skinnes...but I might be adding an extra 85lbs to the nose now...which is a good amount...

It'd be fun trying to get insurance to cover something like that too, after you removed the front supports.

Fiberglass hood
!fender wells
!misc wiring
!rear section of the catback (like a Zed cutout? )

There's lots of misc stuff you can do. Just get creative!

Just an FYI, the rear seat (flat one) with belts is 20#'s. The hatch cover is only like 3#s and the bucket rear seats are about 3#s each. I also took off both sun visors since one side broke off, they're about 1# each.

ROB'S SS, you still have the rear bumper support? Maybe I'm blind but I didn't see it listed.

How hard was removing the firewall insulation? I'm gonna end up pulling the entire HVAC this week and was thinking about taking it out. It's like 5-10 lbs. isn't it?
