Larry,
Please tell me this was an "April fools" thing...
If not you got one helluva chassis to play with.
Just buy another block if everything else is good. <img border="0" alt="[cry]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" />

Larry.. Heres what Im thinking. An Iron block Stroker motor (~410ci), Iron heads, 8.5:1 Compression, and a BIG Precsion Thumper (100mm or so). Brian has a fuel system on the car that should support it correct. Swap in a set of a 160lb injectors.. Go for mid 8s <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Also if need be, let me drive. For someone reason thats the only reason why Im fast is because I weigh like 20lbs, lol. 180 is like a tenth of a sec

I would get another ARE 422-436ci motor and run big compression (13:1)

I'd love to see someone take a bone stock longblock into the 10's.

I wish I could show you the great power you can make with forced induction and a 348ci motor, but I am about a month behind...

How about a rocket block, stuffed with venolia and callies hard parts. A set of 18 degree heads and a accufab throttle body. This way you still have a fuel injected set up, and it won't lift the heads at 700hp. LS1's + power adder of any kind over 700rw = a bloody mess on the floor.

The DART block will be here friday. The motor should be back together in 3 weeks.

twin turbo is my vote with a few more cubes. and a set of wheelie bars to keep the front down so this does not happen again. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I think that we go too aggressive to the PA tunes. Look at Harlan...715 on a mustang dyno, on a stock crank? 143 traps at a 3600 RW? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Its all in the tuning <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

If you need a real mans turbo to go with that Dart block ,shoot me an email. I've got a new PT106 and one of their intercoolers, the biggest they sell. 2300hp sure would sound nice

We are getting ready to go on a hunting trip....as soon as the motor is ready....I suspect we will be able to hunt where we want to.
Thunder's next big race will be where we will NOT do a BIG WHEELIE!!!! We scrapped the motor from the corvette for a better cause...The block sure was a nice one to build for a 4XX motor for the Pain mobile. I now have some very good pistons, rods, cam and etc to build another motor
