Default LPE 427 F-body practice runs

Hi Guys -
Thought you might want to check out this link to one of our fast cars making some practice runs. We weren't able to make a full pass, but the preliminary numbers look promising.

http://www.lingenfelter.com/Video.asp

this link will take you to our video page, click on the N/A 427 link to see the video

Post up and let me know what you think.

Ed

We can see why there are no full 1/4 numbers. That had to hurt!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Was that at Muncie Dragway on a Saturday? Because thats the only day of the week that place will hook! lol

Looks strong! Is that the car you guys are taking to North vs. South?

I seen a car at No problem raceway do the same thing only higher...It broke everything brake line steering oil pan transmission case and gears
,motor block cracked in the rear main, headers gone flat....Sorry about your car slamming down.

Cool launch!! Even if it wasn't N/A. Now get some wheelie bars. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Maybe N/A stands for Nitrous Assisted. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Thanks for the comments, it is definately getting wheelie bars next!!
We were lucky, thanks to a good driver, he was able to do the 1-2 shift, and peddle enough to keep the front end from slamming hard enough to break anything!
Sorry about the N/A wording, we're so used to turbo and S/C cars, we forget!

I can't wait to see what this thing will do with a full pass!

PSJ - yes, you are correct on both counts!!! I'm not sure what size slicks we ran, we have tried several different sizes, so I'm not sure which ones we had on that run.

I went out and looked underneath this weekend, not even a scrath on the crossmember! we got really lucky!

Ed - Are you still coming to the N vs S shootout at BG? If so, can you post over in the other section please?
