Most folks don't run enuff air pressure in the air bags to really make that much of a difference.

I like the drag bar more since it helps not only on launch but down the track. I have [B]the Spohn and it's not the welded stuff, it's a bolton.

I don't remember to be honest, but I don't think it was that much if any more. I am very worried about weight as well (finally down to 3575), but that is one I would do even if it weighed a little more.

I don't know what the 1LE bar is made of, but that makes a difference in the performance. The Spohn bar works, I know that for sure - and I have heard of others running the Suspension Techniques, and it works as well. Just my 2 cents...

If this were a race car only I would tell you go with the Wolfe Anti-roll bar but seeing u drive this car very often on the street you cant beat an air bag. But the anti-roll bar is the best thing since slice bread to keep the car straight.

FWIW- I run a BMR 21mm rear sway bar preloaded heavy on the passengers side and I use an airbag on the RR at 12-14 psi to keep the car leveled out. Our car is a true daily driver so we have to be realistic about our mods. This set up allows comfortable driving and excellent drag racing weight transfer. The air bag provided a decent balance for a while, but when the air got good and the HP increased, the car started actually slamming the RR air bag and created a serious traction problem. The larger bar preloaded and the slightly inflated RR airbag provided quick and flexible adjustability. It has proven itself effective with 1.43-1.44 60fts at 3450#s. Our track also has a reputation for excellent traction.

BTW- excellent and informative post.

Kudos to ya Chris! Nice pic.

You have a good eye Sean. She was actually standing about 5 feet to the right of where she actually shows to be. She was photoshopped over a track hand holding a mop. It makes all the difference doesn't it? Ya just gotta love technology. It's just easier on the eyes wouldn't you agree?

FWIW- That's my wife launching her SS.
