Default Madman Suspension Tech Q&A.........

Madman and Thunder Racing will be hosting a Drag Racing Suspension Set-Up Q&A discussion Friday Nov. 5th before the Southern Shootout here at Thunder Racing. This will be a hands on tech class on how to set your car up for drag racing. The class will be free and open to anyone. If you would like Madman to scale and set-up your cars suspension here at the shop e-mail him at madman69@swbell.net. Pricing for this will be set by him and there will be a limited number of cars that can be done.

Brian will chime in and give more specific information soon. If you have any questions just let me know.

In this class I will be discussing the hows and whys of torque arm suspensions. Their pro and cons over other types of suspension. I will explain pinion angle, instant centers, shock settings, spring rates and tire pressures. Also learning how to read the drag strip you are racing on and how to deal with changes.

I will have my scales and tools to adjust your chassis if you desire. I normally charge $300.00 at the shop, at Thunder I will scale and adjust your car for $100.00. This also includes any chassis help needed at The Thunder Shootout.

Please email me since it will be first come first serve.

They posted that it would be free and open to anyone so my guess is yes.
