sometimes My 99 z will take off fine sometimes it bogs out and nosedived like a bitch. It totally kills the momentum. It seems that if i let the clutch ride a little itll pick up ok but not as great as i would like. Rpm is at about 1900... m6. slp headers asp pulley intake plugs wires free mods 90k miles.
Was reading and some guys said it could be due to the clutch but the was just rebuilt. The front o2's have tripped the SES light but it still did this when they were good. I put on some nitto 555's and was great once and bogged out THE OTHER. is this just driver ability
or could i fix something to improve my launch.

The M6 LS1 cars seem to like having the clutch slipped quite a bit when launching. The problem with that technique is that you'll destroy a stock clutch in no time doing that. That's easily solved with an upgraded clutch setup, though (which my poor T/A is in need of right now).
There is a fine line between spinning the tires and bogging the car. You just have to figure out how to drive the car on that fine line... Of course I'm referring to a mild/stock combo here on street tires, not a 4.56 geared car dumping the clutch @ 6000rpm. That's a whole different ballgame.
