Default Front Sway Bar?

How hard is it to remove and how much will it help. Just curious to see if I should remove it. I don`t take curves really fast at all. I do want the weight transfer at the track. I`m having a hard time hookng with the A4 and 3.73 gears. What all do I have to do to remove. Thanks!

You can take it off if you want. Its not that hard to do and it helps some. I had mine off for a while and drives fine long as you dont take fast turns.

its pretty easy to take on/off, two endlinks and then the a couple of bushings towards the center, prob take 1 hr taking your extreme time to get it off or put on.

Yeah piece of cake, you can take off the brackets too If you want. That will add a few minutes to the process.

I took mine off my SS and it made a world of difference. Just remember to use a lot of penetrant oil or you'll break the endlinks.

I have had no trouble and that was one of my only suspension mods at the track cutting 1.6 60 fts. However going southbound on the feeder of the beltway coming from the I-10 area I did have an 04 Cobra put a car length on me because I had to slow it down around the curb. I made up for it easily after we straightened out but I didn't like looking at the back of the cobra. I take it easy on turns

I took mine off and experienced no gains, and taking corners sucked! I also snapped an end link, So in went new end links and the sway bar. Now my 60 fts are fine AND I can take corners!

I snapped both endlinks and didn't see a gain in my times but then againI was on DR's and spinning badly. I got ES endlinks and will probably take them off for slicks.

Snapped mine off off one side. They're still stuck on there. But I did notice a difference at the track. My 60ft times went from consistent 1.8's to consistent 1.7's.

Did any of you guys experience a hassle with that one bolt (or stud or whatever it is) on the drivers side mounting bracket for the front sway bar?

if you're not referring to the end link and are referring to that piece where you had to lift the plastic piece over and wiggle the swaybar out of the way, then yep. That was in the way.
