Default how to: C5 legal for 10's

running slicks on a C5 and running 10.xx do you need a 4ponit or 6point.... and if I'm not mistaken no drive shaft loop is needed and there are no c-clips in the rear right?, also is it 10.xx that you cannot run a independant rear suspension? or was that 9.xx, well aside from extended studs for the wheels what else is needed? thanks if anybody has the book infront of them (04 NHRA rules)(car is a FRC)

From what I have seen! It depends on the track! Fiberglass body cars can run but if you hit a 9.xx why will boot you! I know the rules but there isn't a note that says corvettes can get away without! I want to know what Linginfelter does on his vettes?

All you need is a five point bar, helmet, safty harness and a fire jacket. You should have safty loops on the half shafts but few do. The C5 rear suspention is legal for 9's even 8's because it has upper and lower control arms in the rear. I don't know of any fiberglass body rule The reason you don't need a drive shaft loop is because your drive shaft is completely enclosed in the torque tube. Good Luck in the 10's
