Default Pics of the lightweight battery and box

Got the box back from being powdercoated, my camera here at work isn't the best, but it gives you and idea of the box. Fits in the stock battery location and uses the stock battery hold downs. I'm having some adapter lugs machined today so that I can use my stock battery cables and connectors. Box weighs just a touch over a pound and the battery is 14lbs. MUCH lighter than the stock stuff... looks cool too.

Very nice setup! Does that battery have the same cold cranking amps as a stocker?

I'm having adapter lugs machined today so that I can use the stock cables and connectors. I don't have a cutoff switch on the car. I should have it all installed by Wed or Thursday and I'll take pics of it in the car.

Yeah, that thing does look slick. What was the total weight savings over the stock setup? Any total on the price of the mount yet? Think that you could have any more made? P.M. me if so.

I just made some pics of the battery, box, and both together on my digital scales here at work. The box with the battery in it is 16.75 lbs. The factory battery is close to 40lbs, so that's a 22lb savings off the front of my car!! Damn!! I can have some more of them made, I don't know a total price yet.. because I haven't gotten the bill on the adapter lugs that will let me use the factory battery terminals.

That's a good weight loss. AThat along with a tubular k member and a arms would probably save about 70 lbs off the nose.... and lose no real important items. About the same weight as a 6 pt cage. I know what I need to do to keep my car at the same weight now. You could probably sell those boxes with the battery and terminal as a complete kit... easily. Let me know the bill once you come up with a price.... should you decicde to market it ( or sell them like the darkage bracket )

Be sure and post how much it costs to have those adapter lugs made because I'm wanting a battery that has male posts on it.
