5 point vs 6 point cages
5 point is cheaper and passenger doesnt have to worry about anything, also lighter.
But with 6 point is there more chassis strength having both arms welded in?
Really what I am trying to find out is, should I go with the 6 point over the 5 point to increase chassis strength or is the weight loss of the 5 point more worth it?

I`ve thought about this some myself. I would probably go with the 6 point. It just seems more "logical" to tie the car together at equal points. Plus, it`s really not that much more money. Just my opinion.
Weld-in subframe connectors stiffen these cars up just fine, so you really don't need the extra sidebar.
My '69 however is pretty loose feeling body-wise, so it is having a solid 6-point installed right now, without any removable side bars. I want it rigid.
