going on. I then looked over at the time it was taken; sure enough, end of the evening and dredging the bottom. Now that I got the bigwigs all in one area though I would like some help about that shootout idea for next Nov. I was trying to something positive out here and clean up the image of 'car guys'. I am trying to coordinate properly a shoot out that doubles as a fundraiser for Toys For Tots. Being that I am a Marine though and getting ready for my rotation to Iraq here shortly I will need help. The guys in my F-body club are more then happy to lend a hand, track and Budweiser tap truck is all but sewn up. I just want to know the other channels I need to plug into or have my wife do while I'm gone. I would like vendors out there in the circle track infield and static car show around the retaining wall of the track. This way we have everything right there for the non-racing crowd. Shoot out would consist of class breakdown of F-bodies and Mustangs seperately. Then the top of both respective badge will battle for that class title. Bow-tie and oval shootout all while raising money and toys for the kids, BRILLIANT! We aren't short on Marines around here, and how hard is it really to convince guys to go to the track? I am planning for the Veterans Day weekend so that no one will be inconvenienced really for work since I aim for a two day event. Other F-body groups from the area have already said they will drive the 100 miles to be here as well. Everything covered there? Any more questions feel free to ask.
