Default Pulin the tires, what 60's?

What 60ft's do you guys normaly see the front tires coming off the ground? Just wondering. I don't know if some of you cought my passes at M9 event. I was pullin 1.51-1.53's on the juice and the truck was flat as a pancake with 235/60's. I guess its all how the suspension is dialed. Also I am on leafs. Don't get me wrong here I have no real desire to pick the tires up. I would rather use the power to go forward then up. Allthough it might be cool to look at the sky. Do think this is a impresive 60ft for a drag radial leaf spring truck?

It has more to do with weight transfer than with 60' times, or even how the suspension is setup. On both of our cars: the SS could pull the driver's side tire up on 1.71 60'. The Z28 always pulled the driver's side tire up with anything from a high 1.6 down to a high 1.5. Both cars have the factory suspension parts. How high do you want to pull the tires up? I would only try to pull them up about a foot and no more, I believe anything more than that is just for show.

I was pulling them at 1.57 and better. If you run adjustable shocks up front maybe put them a little looser to get a little air.

I started pulling them on the "bone stock LS1" at 1.8's. But I have a rediculous amount of suspension work done, 12 bolt & big slicks.

on 27x10.5x15 ET streets and an IRS rear my car was going 1.47's and getting 2-4" under both front tires.

Now, well it's getting a lot more air under there and we haven't gotten a number for the 60' yet.

Well since you have a Truck, all of your weight transferable load is at the front. You would need a heck of a lot of torque to lift the front tires. I met a guy that rana 10.2 truck in PSCA, he had all of the suspension work done but couldn't lift the front end for better weight transfer. That is just the deal with trucks and drag racing ... unless you do a lot of weight removal to the front end.
