What's the part number of the seat you bought, JS?

Also, will the brackets work with Part No. 41900 or 41800?

Finally, have you installed a back brace from the back of the seat to the roll bar behind you? If so, does it need to go just below the opening for the shoulder straps or just above the opening?

Thanks,

Derrick

Yes about the bracket for the bar.
Did you attach the back brace above the shoulder strap opening or below the opening?

Its mounted below the shoulder harness opening....

I wanna clear up the seat information as to what seat can be used.
Walt tells me he can use just about any Kirkey but u will need to provide him with the seat if you want brackets made for it unless its a flat bottom seat, then there will be no problem as in the pictures I've put up.

I have two Kirkey Prostreet seats going in next month with a custom 8pt.

What measurements do you need? Just the seat dimensions? Or does he need to know where It will be mounted in the car. These look nice n if the price is right I will bite

Thanks!
Brad

Hey guys, FYI here's what Walt says:

"Hi , the brackets in the pics work with the 9000, 16000, 19000 and 20000
seats. To do any other seat i would need to have the seat first."

So, go here http://www.kirkeyracing.com/ and click on Seats, then All Seats and you will see those series listed.

Hope this helps!

Do you know how short he can make those things? I have a Sparco Evo, and I have it almost sitting on the floor in the back, and I'd like to get it even shorter....shorter is better for roll center and helmet clearance. Those brackets look damn good!

FYI...

I just bought a pair of these and installed them last night. They are awesome. I had mine built 4" off the floor front and back and the seat sits lower than stock. My new Kirkey seat is much more comfortable than my Corbeau Forza was. Plenty of helmet clearance and the back of the seat is about 4" away from the bar behind the seat. I did screw up a bit on the back brace though. I drilled the holes in the back of the seat just a tad to low and now the back brace sits about 1/4" too low from the bar. The seat is solid and won't budge at all. I think the seat braces are worth the money.
