Awesome, and thanks again on the tip for the cage. Did the tech have any concerns with the car, or did it pass with no problems?

Whoa! Did you say just left the house? How about a pic of your setup. I need to get certified before racing season.

Joey, passed with flying colors. Did you ever talk to Takash?

LOnSLO, there's only two guys I know of in Florida and it just so happens that one is somewhat local to me. So yes, he makes house calls. I was hoping to get this done now cause next years rules are going to see some changes. Here's a couple more pics -

Cool deal. Just making sure the front downbars curving around the dash will pass. I'll be good to go then.

I dont think my swingouts will fly. But the cage needs to be a 10 point.
what else, would I need? Im talking when I finally do make it to the 9's.
Can you even cert. a daily driver.

Dave - You been sneaking around my garage?

Brian, I'm not versed on the swing outs. But you're a only a good day of dehydration and strong tailwind from the 9's.

lol ya man. I got a 11.14@120 last night on motor, and couldnt hook on even a 150 at moroso. it sucked bad. I really thought it was my night, oh well.
My best motor over at bmp was a 11.33@118.80 so. it would have been really close if I could have stuck it.

Must be nice to have someone so close. Not that I have to worry. No idea if and when I could even get mine - I suppose I need a 10 point 1st - oh **** that's right, you have to run 9's first.

Congrat Eric. You get those 30's yet?

Great looking cage Eric. Feels good to be going fast enough to need a cage

It's actually cheaper and much less hassle to have the NHRA tech come to your shop. Cost me and extra $35.00 or so. .35 cents per mile I think.

Again, looks great.

Thanks Tom. You gotta love safety/certification requirements. That equals faster, which is always fun.

Charlie, here's a pic the front down bar tie in.

Coach, that may be something I'll consider. You know what else I'll do if this is the long term solution.

Very nice. Looks almost exactly like mine in the CE. I started with a Wolfe 6pt with dual swingouts. Had the extra bars added by a local shop. Mine is certified to 7.50 also. With the swingouts. He just asked me to bolt in the top when I raced instead of the pins. Mine is a street car with full interior.

Eric, thanks for the pic. Very nice indeed.
What changes after the new year to keep it at 8.50? The bars bending around the dash, or what?
