Talking BIG Slick on the car now (The Ws)

I just test mounted a 28x10.5x15W tire on a new 15x10 prostar...

here it is compared to the old 26x10x15 I had


here it is on the car :grin:


Now thats a BIG tire

2005 should be an interesting race season

Looks similar to size compared to my 28x12.5x15......

I might look into a set of those.....whats the actual width on them 10"?

13.1 sidewall
10.9 tread

they are very similar spec as 28x13.5

The sidewalls are wider, not the tread/surface area. But, its well known that with W tires the surface/tread area gets wider as the tires wear down more. W tires are also a little more safe, they hold more weight.

But, alot of 10.5 racing series outlaw the W tires because they get wider with age. Not really a "true 10.5".

tread is wider..

std 10.5 is 10" of tread
W is 10.9" of tread

it would have been at thunder now that its over id like to see what shell do hooking to give me a idea of what mine will do with heads. after all the suspension tuning you have done some low 1.4 should be in the bag with some traction, i just want to see the et. it better go some 30's

How do these tires compare in size to a 325/50 DRag Radial? Look pretty close, how much is your rear narrowed and what BS wheels are those?

unnarrowed rear. They are .3" wider than a 325 radial
