Default Which Drag Radial?

Alright, someone please advise me. Which of these DR tires will give me better traction at the strip with my 12-bolt. These will ONLY be bolted up for the drive to the track. Now it is 50 miles each way, so I will be putting a good amount of miles on them but they will not be driven on daily.

315/35-R17 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial 2

or

275/40-R17 Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radial

Thanks

What size are you running? I am just concerned I am giving up some traction by going with a 275?
